With the intention to promote and encourage young artists, the POTA Gallery is pleased to announce the creation of the POTA Gallery scholarship. This scholarship is $1000 presented annual to the most promising and passionate Year 11 Art student from Maffra Secondary College. The award will be presented to the winner at the MSC end of year presentations.

Selection will be based on a number of criteria including the artist's potential to access other support for their artistic pursuits, their general passion for creating art, a commitment to creating art in the future, and a willingness to, not necessarily sell, but share their work with the general public with an exhibition at the POTA Gallery Summer Collection
5 December until 20 December 2026. The degree to which these criteria are met by the artists will be judged by a panel familiar with the artist and their work, and will also include consideration of a written or verbal application by the artist.
